CNN just said that the Pope has told pharmacists not to fill perscriptions
for "immoral purposes." I wonder if he is talking about antibiotics meds and hepatitis vaxes for a priest who just raped a sick kid? I agree, that would be immoral, IMO.

5. Not exactly
VATICAN CITY – Pope Benedict XVI urged Catholic pharmacists on Monday to use conscientious objection to avoid dispensing drugs with “immoral purposes such as, for example, abortion or euthanasia.”

50. What about "Immoral" secondary effects?
There are quite a few drugs that can cause spontaneous abortion if taken in early pregnancy, including some common migraine medicines. Should women of childbearing age get their priests' permission to take the medicines prescribed by a medical professional?

How about this: Let's leave Catholicism to the Pope and medicine to doctors.

i was raised a catholic -- catholic school, the whole bit. if i were molested by a priest and i told my mother, she would have called me a liar and said "how could you say something like that about a priest"?

... and it's something I've thought about so often.

Not only would my mother NEVER have believed me, I would have been treated as an outcast by my entire strict Catholic family for having suggested such a thing.

I wonder how many people, now adults, STILL haven't come forward for the same reason.

Let the free market decide. :sarcasm: If the pharmacist has a problem with dispensing drugs prescribed by a doctor, maybe the pharmacist needs to become an electrician instead. 48. you are correct..hitler youth..
here are a few things i have kept in my files..since this man was made pope..

Jungvolk Oath (taken by ten-year-old boys on first entering the Hitler Youth)

"In the presence of this blood banner which represents our Führer, I swear to devote all my energies and my strength to the saviour of our country, Adolf Hitler. I am willing and ready to give up my life for him, so help me God."

Pledge of Allegiance

"I promise to do my duty in love and loyalty to the Führer and our flag."

Hitler Youth 'Prayers' (modeled after the Lord's Prayer)

"Adolf Hitler, you are our great Führer. Thy name makes the enemy tremble. Thy Third Reich comes, thy will alone is law upon the earth. Let us hear daily thy voice and order us by thy leadership, for we will obey to the end and even with our lives. We praise thee! Heil Hitler!"

"Führer, my Führer, give me by God. Protect and preserve my life for long. You saved Germany in time of need. I thank you for my daily bread. Be with me for a long time, do not leave me, Führer, my Führer, my faith, my light, Hail to my Führer!"

thanks for correcting me..the brownshirts remind me of Blackwater...they were vicious and Hitlers private army!!
