Even if the Pentagon says "No way we will invade. Screw you, Commander in chief! We are not following orders!" Even if Congress says "No war!" Even if the American people say "No War in Iran!" If Bush and Cheney can keep the price of the commodity which makes them and their companies and their families and all their buddies and all their campaign donors as rich as sin close to $100/barrel just by giving Iran the evil eye and dropping hints and putting weird requests in their budgets, do you think that they will ever stop?

No, because war mongering is good for the oil business, even if it never leads to war.

Gas prices are not being held artificially high.
