Looks like the price of gas is finally catching up to the increasing cost of a barrel of oil. Fill up now if it's still "cheap" where you're at.

Looks like it's gonna be a very un-merry Christmas.......

5. I filled my tank with $3.49 per gallon Chevron Supreme today.
I can't deal with the sticker shock of a real "full tank."

I know how many MPG I get in my car and keep an eye on my mileage and fill my tank $20 at a time. Today I got a little over 5.5 gallons.

6. what sucks for me
is I had to put the bike up for the winter and now I am driving the Durango. Luckly my wife drives the accord so she gets decent mileage. Hopefully if one of the many jobs I have sent resume's into call and hire me I will be getting a smaller car. We had a smaller car, but I gave it to my dad because they needed one pretty bad and then I was driving my uncles mazda but he needed it back.

I put 20 bucks in at a time, so its a big hit to us and we dont want to sell it because it DOES come in handy when we do a heavy shopping trip or have to tow something.

7. it had gone up 20 cents here in central NM by Friday
but I haven't looked since then.

It's not going to go down, you know, not until we get rid of the crowd in DC.

8. A map of national gas price trends:

I generally do a little shopping around for gas prices--gasbuddy.com is a good resource.
