4. I took a trip to Vancouver in 1986. At that time the exchange rate was

31%. An American dollar was worth $1.31 Canadian. Sad how far we have sunk.

12. I would probably feel bad if my Canada mutual fund

weren't up 50% since May. If the fed keeps cutting interest rates, the buck will continue to slide. It's getting to be too much of a good thing, but it's likely to keep on until the Asian currencies separate from the dollar.
