Ballot access petitioning begins today in New York. Draft Gore NY is circulating petitions. You need to be a registered NY Democrat to collect signatures. It only takes 5000 signatures to get Gore on the ballot.

Frankly, I doubt that we have any chance of keeping HRC out of the white house.

2. I live in New York...

There isn't anyone I know or have heard of that is voting for her, they are going with someone else. Many said they are looking toward Edwards.

All over the place we "hear" she is supported by so many, yet I haven't met one person who does, and I ask them flat out if they know of anyone who is, and they don't either. I've read on the boards that a lot of people are saying the same thing.

Doesn't mean she won't get the nomination, I frankly wouldn't know whether she got it honestly or not.

5. same here in NJ..everywhere i go i ask people ..even in the grocery store

and walking around in the mall..i have met 2 people who say they are voting for her..2...everyone else either boldly say..no way..or turn their nose up and get animated with a hell no..

and i work with the dem party in Fla..and i have heard of so few supporting her..it amazes me what the so called polls are saying ..as i can't find those huge numbers supporting her..in fact i find just the opposite.

and even among life long, hard working dems.

My personal opinion is the Repubs have nothing to run on to get their people to vote, so they pump up Hillary in order to "get out the Repub. vote" .. (I am thinking it will get the Dem vote out too, for exactly the reasons we are discussing) and it's just another thing that will backfire on the Republicans.

When the only voice that Al's listening to says, "I am not running for president in 2008" -
that voice of course is his own.

I'd love for him to be president and I also honor his wishes to walk a path of his choosing.
