Iran alarmed by dead dolphins.

The mysterious "mass suicide" of 152 dolphins washed up on Iran's coast over the past month has alarmed environmentalists, with the blame pointed at regional fishing practices, officials said on Monday.

It's not that mysterious really and I don't think it has a thing to do with fishing. Just type military sonar dead dolphins into google or whatever and you'll understand what the real issue is. Likely America planning its war.

It is the massive amount of US Naval shipping and it's sonar which is to blame. How could anyone be in doubt? Dolphins are acutely sensitive to Sonar and use it to locate and catch their prey. They are being stressed, made helpless and unable to effectively feed themselves. They know they are blinded and in trouble, and it is deeply abhorrant in the eyes of all sentience that knowing this we still persist in this brutality. What a worthless and unworthy species we are become.

What is this latest American War really, short of a War on all Life?

1. "How could anyone be in doubt?"
well, for one, you don't actually have any evidence that this particular event was caused by sonar disruption.

Sure it can and does happen, but why should I believe it happened in this case?

3. The low-frequency range sonar we are using ruptures the
the ultra-sensitive hearing systems of cetaceans causing blood ejection from the blow hole and internal bleeding.

Iran does operate diesel-electric subs which are quiet, so our Navy uses this sonar profusely in the narrow, and somewhat shallow, Persian Gulf to ensure themselves that they are not in range of a submerged vessel, which could be Iranian.

All part of Dubya's world of fear and paranoia.

4. The military killed them so they couldn't be used as bomb delivery devices.
Like in that movie.

5. It's the Navy's "super sonar," definitely.
Google it. This was a big deal in the early months of the BushCo admin. They've developed a super sonar that blows the living fuck out of dolphin's and whale's eardrums, and causes brain damage and disorientation. This happened off Iran? Put 2 and 2 together, kids. The Navy killed them in their run up to an invasion of Iran.

7. We rarely used active sonar when I served
I can remember enduring "pings" in our submarine one time and it was intense.

Our boat didn't have the ability or means to reduce the sound of these pings and I think we'd have gone nuts if it had continued for very long. Perhaps the newer class of submarines have a means to reduce this noise on the interior?

And I have to wonder why they are even using it. During my time we avoided it because it told the enemy where you were.

11. #5 K and R
Naval sonar, simple as that. Not only should Iran be
alarmed, every American citizen needs to be alarmed.
This forbodes the intents of the BFEE in reference
to Iran and *'s push for total World Domination.

18. The first thing I thought when I read the subject title was sonar.
I wonder if there will be a necropsy performed on any of the dolphins to determine cause of death.

That is just so sad.
