#1 reason I am opposed to Hillary Clinton .... The American Revolution
Did we not start out as a country because we were opposed to Royalty?

Reagan - Bush 1981 -1989
Bush - Small Bird 1989 - 1993
Clinton - Gore 1993 - 2001
Bush - Cheney 2001 - 2009
H. Clinton - Lieberman 2009 - 2013/2017
Marvin Bush - Norah O'Donnel 2017 - 2021
Chelsea Clinton - John Ellis "Jebby" Bush 2021 - 2029

3. o.k. you are right ... it was about money
.... our forefathers thought "Hey, why send the money to England why not keep it here?"

But I did not want facts in the way of my argument.

15. It was largely about offshoring, from the English viewpoint
Most of the taxes American businessmen felt so onerous were to penalize American companies and prevent them from competing with British companies. They wanted the colonies to be net exporters of raw materials and importers of finished goods. That also covered imported goods like tea. American companies had to pay additional tea taxes that the British didn't have to face.

That protected all the industry in Britain and largely prevented its development here. The Revolution was fought largely for a right to compete.

The descendants of those freedom fighters have turned around on us and exported all the industries that made their families rich, making the Americas once again net exporters of raw materials and importers of finished goods.

6. I share your concern
and the reason I passionately supported Andrew Hurst for Congress (VA-11th-D - no he didn't win) was because he was so passionately for term limits and for government accountability. We have a real problem here, not just with the Presidency but with Congress as well. I wish we had term limits. When you think how many Senators and Congressmen have been in the same seat for God knows how long, it should disturb you, even Congressmen I like, they need to go. They gain too much power by being in office too damn long. I don't think politics should be a career path, I think it should be temporary service.

If that were the case, a capable man like Kucinich might have chance at the Presidency or a Senate seat.

I don't have anything against Hillary Clinton, I quite admire her, but for her to think that her coming victory is a true victory for women is wrong, it's a victory for Bill Clinton mostly, and reflects on his relatively good record in many areas.

8. So...we rebelled because we didn't like the proposition of the executive

having a similar name as prior executives did? What strange things they're teaching now.

On edit: I do recognize that if Hillary wins two terms, I will be 30 at the end of her second term, and I will not be able to remember a single day in which neither a Bush nor a Clinton was President. That's creepy.

13. I'm opposed to her because she shows too little cleavage.
When the President isn't properly showin' what God gave her, what kind of message is that sending our attractive young women? That it's okay to only hint at the fact that you are not built like a man? No. I won't stand for that.

what kind of shrooms have you been using? Some of those terms are like something from a really bad trip.

17. It's not royalty if they are elected. The American Revolution didn't result in a
Constitution that said running for office was limited to one per family.
