The Bush Crime Family just doesn't care anymore. They can't win another election, so little by little, scrap by scrap, they're revealing their true colors to the American people. So what if Cheney sleeps through cabinet meetings while California burns, or slumps off to kill small animals at a hunt club sporting a Confederate flag? It's not as if he owned slaves . . . recently. And who cares if Man-or-Monkey stumbled out to a microphone today in front of a gaggle of rich white Republican Congressman and promised - yet again - to veto a bill guaranteeing health care to America's poor children. What does it matter?

These war criminals have secured their Iraqi oil fields and permanent military bases, they've secured their sanctions and war plans against Iran, worked their environmental abuses, passed their fascist legislation, decimated the Constitution, legalized torture and indefinite detention of civilians. What's left on their evil "to do" list?

Might as well party it up in their waning days of "official" power over us serfs.

Which I guess for Cheney means murdering little animals at an openly racist hunt club. According to the AP: “It was Cheney's second visit to Clove Valley Rod & Gun Club in Dutchess County, NY when a New York Daily News photographer snapped a picture of a small Confederate flag hanging inside a garage on the hunt club property. The photo was shown to civil rights activist, the Rev. Al Sharpton, who issued a statement demanding that the vice president ‘leave immediately, denounce the club and apologize for going to a club that represents lynching, hate and murder to black people.’”

Sorry, Reverend Al, Cheney hadn’t bagged his limit yet. And I wouldn’t venture too close to him if I were you, lest he mistake your for an errant elk or something.

At least Darth Cheney didn’t shoot anybody in the face this time. That we know about, anyway.

We’ll discuss this newly- nonchalant White House on the program tonight . . . yawn.

but I guess it has ... I remember asking for Sirius equipment, so that I could listen to him in the car; I once had Sirius, switched to XM, and then a year ago I went back to Sirius satellite radio. I've been happy since (I listen to Thom Hartmann either on Sirius or on KLSD 1360 in San Diego, although that will go away soon, and I'll use the internet, when I'm not using the satellite radio).

We gave Peanut his name because he only weighed 1.25 lbs when we got him. He was sooooo tiny, he didn't seem real. As you can see, he's gained quite a bit of weight since then (so have I, but at least I'm trying to do something about it. I can't say the same thing about him). Milo can make himself comfy pretty much anywhere and once he's found a spot, he won't move. Mr. smokey has had to contort himself many times because Milo decided to take a nap on the couch.

If I try to nudge him off the couch or out of my seat that he just HAD to keep warm for me, he will push back against the pressure with all his might. It's pretty funny because he is so determined that if I take my hand away, he falls over. :rofl:
