KUCINICH CALLS FOR IMPEACHMENT DURING DEBATE VID
He said that Bush's invasion of Iraq was illegal and that Bush's planning to invade Iran is also illegal

1. I'm going to tell you that I seriously wished that Kucinich were electable...
Edited on Tue Oct-30-07 09:39 PM by LakeSamish706
He really is my preferred candidate and would stand for the most positive change in America. Being realistic, I don't think that he is.... and therefore my next choice of someone that would do a good job would be Edwards.... (He probably is electable)

3. Damn it. If you want him VOTE FOR HIM.
You just announced that you're giving away your vote to please unknown others who will vote for someone else...maybe. WHAT A STUPID REASON NOT TO VOTE FOR THE CANDIDATE YOU WANT. You assume nobody stands with you. You will never know if you vote for someone who isn't your choice. And no one will know how strongly you feel about Kucinich's issues, if you don't vote for him. Which means you are encouraging the candidates to forget those issues as they clearly don't matter to you.

My mom is voting for Kucinich. She doesn't give a damn who anybody else votes for. He stands where she stands. And she is standing with him.

6. Aargh, a person is electable if enough people vote for him
but not if voters act like they're still in high school and have to vote for Heather for class president or else the cool kids will laugh at them.

8. He is already an elected official.
If he can be elected as a Mayor of Cleveland and to Congress, there is no reason he can't be elected President.

Do not listen to the nay-sayers. They have other agendas. Vote your conscience. Vote your best interest. Never give your vote to someone whom you believe has not earned it.

:hi:

9. Your handle makes you sound like you live in the CAUCUS state of Washington
That means you have several bites of the apple, and you can afford to think strategically. Edwards is doing reasonably well among local Dem activists right now, and he really doesn't need your help (yet). I say when you go to the precinct caucus ask for a pony, even if you'll accept a kitten. Caucus for Kucinich. At the LD or county caucus, you can strategically shift to Edwards if it looks like doing that might put him over the top.

And always remember that, just as in 2004, Kucinich will be in it to the end if you'd like to send a protest message to the national convention about money-driven coronations.

12. I agree with you 100% on the money issue... It seems to me that we, the
American people are loosing out because of our candidates not being able to raise the money needed to stay in the race... That to me is not Democratic at all.. This needs to change. NOW...

2. Kucinich is a voice crying in the wilderness
after Pelosi took impeachment "off the table." He's been consistent on his stand on the war, and would make an excellent president.

14. I would bet he will, he made sure to mention a couple of times...
tonight even when it wasn't the question. I think he wants America to know that they do have someone trying to give them a voice.

18. I hope so! I just wish the repukes didn't have a heads up on the Impeachment. Now they will
be prepared with 1000 talking points, 123,947 excuses as to why Kucinich should not to be listened to (UFOs), and 490,254 reasons the psycho shouldn't be Impeached.:( I wish it would have been a surprise, so they didn't have time to prepare their plan-of-attack. Heaven only knows what they have dug up to throw at Dennis.

19. I think Kucinich believes there is a strong chance this aggression
in the ME will soon be escalated and that is why he is stepping up talk of impeachment, K&R.

significant issue of the day to the table at the debate: supporting and defending the U.S. Constitution.

24. He's rocking the boat
Whether he ever gets on a presidential ballot or not, he's doing a whole lot of good just in the effort to get there. Not to say I wouldn't like him as President or VP, I just want to recognize this as having value all it's own.
