I think MSNBC's question to Kucinich on UFO's was a low blow and cheap shot. It proves they want to
kick Kucinich out of the race. It had NO valid
reason to be there other than to purely discredit
the candidate. I'm starting to hate Russert more
than Tweety.

1. It reminds me of when someone asked Gen. Clark

If he disavowed what Michael Moore had said, since Moore was supporting him. . (I don't remember what Michael said, but I remember that it was right)

4. He handled it reasonably well.
Kucinich: "More people in this country have seen UFOs than I think approve of George Bush's presidency."

"About 14% of Americans say they have seen UFOs-"

Kucinich: "What was the percentage?"

"14 percent-"

Kucinich: "What was that percentage?"

"14-"

Kucinich smiling: "Thank you."

8. Handled well
I didn't see the interview but your transcription tells the story. Kucinich seldom gets anything but hostile and "gotcha" interviews from the MSM but he is always cool and handles himself well - articulate, self-possessed, and on top of his subject. There is no way he is going to get the nomination, but he is an important voice - and he'd make a great Speaker of the House.

6. Kucinich was the best candidate on display last night
No doubt Russert and Williams were upset that Dennis took a big swing at MSM for their role is sharing the promoting the illegal invasion of Iraq and pushing the bomb Iran theory. Never forget that GE makes gazillions off war. I detest Russert.

23. that was the best comment Dennis made among the others
for bringing the media propaganda machine into view and stop beating the drum for invasion into yet another country Iran.
He also brought up the Constitution and Impeachment a few times. God, only the truth will prevail, Dennis what a good guy!!

7. And while I don't happen to believe in extraterrestrial visitation,
which btw is not what he said-he took pains to point out that he saw something UNIDENTIFIED, that's still less 'wacky' than a lot of well-established beliefs. Worshiping a dead Jew that lived two thousand years ago that could turn water into wine and resurrected from the dead whose father is an elderly white male with a flowing beard and robes that hovers somewhere around 30,000 feet and is deeply concerned about a Georgia/Alabama football game, well hell, to me THAT'S wacky.

Tweety wouldn't have asked a similar of Hillary.

Dennis (to his credit) answered the question honestly.

11. DK didn't answer the question well, there's no way he can last,
but he did manage to get in a good point; more voters have seen UFOs than believe either the Congress or a President is capable of "fixing" what they did to our country.

14. Yes. but
did he favor them Aliens getting driving licenses?

Shouldn't we make sure they can handle the saucer before we let them fly around?

That's the burning question that Timmy never asked?

And what about Bigfoot?

Just another example of the MSM ignoring the big issues confronting America and focusing on the little ones.

:sarcasm:

to try and hurt them one by one. Last time he tried something like this was with Richardson. This time it was Kucinich.

18. Yeah, I think that the MSM felt the need to kick Kucinich down.
He's slowly but surely going up in the polls, he's the only one in the race who has been consistently right on all the issues, he's the only Dem in Congress going after the president, I think that the word was put out to go after Kucinich last night, yet Dennis handled the question well. I expect that there will be more of this, especially once his impeachment bill hits the floor.

20. When Bruce Springsteen held that incredible concert on The Today Show, Timmeh was in the audience
and in seventh heaven watching Bruce perform. I almost felt that Bruce was defiled having Timmeh salivate over him the way he did. Bruce sang a couple of incredible anti-war songs and there was Timmeh, an enabler for the war-with blood on his hands.

21. And how many believe Noah's ark was a real boat?
And how many believe that the Garden of Eden had a tree with magic fruit that was so incredibly good for you that if you took a bite you'd live forever?

That spaceships might exist doesn't stretch credibility any more than many other widely-held beliefs.

I think questions like that about every candidates beliefs should be asked. There lies the problem, they only ask the candidates they don't like difficult questions.

27. Russert's only purpose was to HUMILIATE Kucinich in front of millions of voters
Kucinich should have told Russert that his position
on UFO's is no more unbelievable than Russert's denial
of having played a big role in the outting of a
CIA agent -- Valerie Plame.

"Uh, excuse me Tim, can you tell us again -- just
what was exactly was your part in outting Valerie
Plame?"
