Who thinks the focus on Kucinich and UFOs was to diffuse talk of impeachment?

I watched a little of the post-debate chatter.No mention of impeachment.LOTS of talk about UFOs..did they elaborate about impeachment later?or leave it at that.What a bunch of hacks.

That and it was an attempt to shove Kucinich back down. Slowly but surely the man has risen in the polls, he's getting more name and record recognition, and people are realizing that this is the only man up there who's been not only consistently right all along, but who genuinely has the good of the people at heart. This is a huge threat to the corporate powers that be, therefore the word was put out for Russert to do a drive by on Dennis. The funny thing is, it didn't work, it simply gave Dennis another chance to resonate with the ordinary American.

We can expect more and more of these as Kucinich continues to go forward, especially if he brings impeachment to the floor of Congress.

Although, the USAToday nearly committed journalism at first.

But even when it "had to be mentioned" there was the caveat of "Kucinich reiterated" or "repeated" his call for impeachment, even though this was the first time he'd called for impeaching bush himself and did so in a debate (you know, on the teevee). This frames his statements as "old news" and not worthy of attention.
