Only thing the local news will show from debate is Kucinich/UFO question

Well at least he's getting some much-needed airtime. KUSI is showing Kucinich with "creepy 1950s sci-fi UFO movie music" playing in the background. Obviously they need to belittle him. KUSI does have a right-wing tilt.

1. It's unfortunate that this is probably the only serious air time

he'll get. Kucinich has some radical views and ideas, but we need something like that at this point in time.

He's also TRUTHFUL, something that the majority of politicians no longer care or know about.

3. While Kucinich is a nice guy

He has that Dukais "kick me" kind of look, that will just slam him if he gets the nomination. That's why I say he can't win. Now, would I like him to get some sort of cabinet post, yes sure. But, the plain truth is Kucinich would be beaten to a pulp in the general, and that's why we can give him the nomination. Would it be nice if the US wasn't as jock vs nerd as it is, yes. But, we all know that brains vs brawn is a great factor in elections for higher office. We want it as much for the symbol of strength to other countries, as for the feeling of safety.

The only reason Bush was able to pull it off was because he was portrayed as a John Wayne type, and it was the media that hyped it.
