Did anyone else get the "OMG Obama didn't say the pledge" e-mail

The subject line reads: A picture is worth a thousand words---or more



I had heard about this but a picture is definitely worth 1000 words! God save us!!!

(there's a picture of Obama standing politely while others say the pledge - I don't know how to insert pictures)

Senator Barack Obama, Governor Bill Richardson, Senator Hillary Clinton and Ruth Harkin stand during the national anthem.
Barack Hussein Obama's photo (that's his real name)......the article said he REFUSED TO NOT ONLY PUT HIS HAND ON HIS HEART DURING THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE, BUT REFUSED TO SAY THE PLEDGE.....how in the hell can a man like this expect to be our next Commander-in-Chief????

My FIL sent it to me and this was my reply to him and all the rest of the people he had sent it to:

Obama be a great commander in chief! Saying the pledge isn't a test of how much you love America and we need to stop making it so. Just like slapping on a flag pin doesn’t make you a first class American.
Considering the idiot in the White House likes to dress up in his costumes while shredding our Constitution. Just because he jumps at the chance to say the pledge just goes to prove even those that don't love our country say the pledge to dupe those who use it as some type of score card.


Please think before you vote;

It just burns my ass when I get these stupid messages - why do so many Americans have to prove how stupid they are.

1. Responding to the email:

First of all, it wasn't the pledge. It was during the singing of the national anthem. I saw the video and he was singing the words, but didn't have his hand over his heart.

If you're facing the flag, then you put your hand over your heart. No one was facing the flag in that video. They were facing the singer.

4. I've attended thousands of sports events and...

... rarely put my hand over my heart. If I'm wearing a cap, I take it off and usually put it there. But otherwise, I stand solemnly just as Obama is doing. BTW, I know it's Obama's middle name, but using it in the e-mail is so obviously a cheap shot.
