Kos agrees with cutting Gravel, if up to him--DK and Biden wouldn't be in the debates either!
Just read this on Daily Kos. I like his site, but he is very anti-front runner it seems to me. He doesn't care for candidates who may have something important to say but don't register in the polls as highly as the more recognizable candidates. He agrees with NBC which says Gravel wasn't in the debate because he raised less than 1) a million bucks and 2) doesn't register 5% in recent polls in Iowa and NH and then goes on to say if it was up to him "Kucinich and Biden wouldn't be included either." Apparently Kos is unaware that DK is at 7% (fourth place) in the most recent NH poll.

I think they all should be included--and not only included but given equal time.

2. Polls are rigged right now
A number of people have reported getting calls from pollsters who then only ask their opinion on the front runner candidates, not Kucinich.

It would be unfair to exclude Kucinich or anyone else until after the first couple of primaries to see if election results match the "polls".

3. lol, I bet he wouldn't want Biden
Biden has the best chance of upsetting the entire apple cart. The fact that Markos doesn't appreciate Biden says an awful lot about Markos.

7. If Ralph Nader had been in the debates in 2000
we might have been able to avoid the last disasterous 8 years. He would have done all the arguing and sighing and Al could have stood back and looked Presidential.

10. I have watched polls alot
lately. and every time I see Joe Biden winning... first the Edwards camp shows up, then Obama then Hillary. suddenly the leader changes hands hourly. I find it amusing as to how the most informed people vote first then the heard mentality takes over, in any poll. lemmings they are.

11. Define "all"
Anyone who announces for the Democratic nomination? Even if that means thousands of declared candidates up on the stage?

Surely we all agree that a line has to be drawn. The argument is the basis for drawing that line and where it should be drawn.

17. I disagree
Gravel showed up at our oct 27 rally. He showed up at the fl state dem convention to speak to the netroots. He spoke about paper ballots, the dlc, giving power back to the people as opposed to wall street, ending the war and preventing the next one, and about corp control of the msm. He deserved to be on the stage. He isn't taking a penny from any corporations.
