A question, possibly hypothetical

Wilson has filed or is planning to file a Civil Suit against Libby and others or so I have read. If Bush* pardons Libby does that end the Civil Suit as well at least as far as Libby is concerned or is a Pardon only good for Criminal actions?

1. Far as I know Presidential Pardons only cover Criminal Acts.

But it's an interesting question.

One has to wonder at the amount of material Wilson's legal team has now amassed due to the Libby trial.

Also, will there be a Congressional inquiry into the matter down the road.
