CNN finally Posting Tommy Franks/NeoCon's Rosey Scenario Power Point Presentation!
Edited on Thu Feb-15-07 05:45 PM by KoKo01
CNN finally caves and does the story on the Power Point slides that Bush Saw presenting everyone that "Rose Petals and Cheers" would greet US Troops.

THEY GOT IT! A good one....!

Blitzer asks: "Is anyone paying a Price for this?" Reporter say: "Well if you look at the cost of lives of soldiers and others there in Iraq...I guess you could say so." (paraphrase)

1. I could have put together a better plan they really were completely
clueless in the assumptions they made and the projection of outcomes unless of course it never really mattered.

3. Problem is that you aren't well connected. That's the only requirement
for becoming a guy that creates government policy. Wisdom, intellegence & common sense don't count for shit.

4. I wonder
I always wondered about this incredibly incompetent clusterfuck; Who is in a room somewhere saying to his hench persons, "ha-ha-ha-ha, this Iraq War is succeeding beyond our wildest expectations. A toast to my fellow Hero's-in-error for a job well done!"

I mean, they could not have fucked everything up more if they set out to fuck it all up from the beginning on purpose, you know?

Only place I could see this even remotely happening is in a future secret Cheney energy task force meeting.

I mean, guys like Feith are so fucking stupid, if they had any ability to comprehend how incompetent they are, they'd kill themselves with their bare hands. If they contemplated for even a moment about all the misery and human suffering they chose to create, they would have no choice but to play tag with some semi's on the nearest interstate.

5. They showed some "snips" in lead up but when they got to report
they "said" what it "said" and it was very good. I've been reading about this new revelation on the Liberal Blogs and didn't think CNN would ever report it.

They did. It's not a FULL EXPOSE...but for the "masses" it's important because they did report that what "was predicted" was very far from what happened. Only thing is that it seems they are "isolating" the Chimp saying "how was he to know?" BUT...they make plain that "collusion was involved."

To my very liberal ears and eyes ...it was as good a report as we can expect from CNN who is fed by the RW Think Tanks who LOVE WAR!

I wouldn't post it ...if I didn't think they at least "tried" and that the "ditto heads" might view this as a REVELATION!

It was as good or better than we usually expect from the Corporate Whore Media and in particular CNN who has gone so far rightward recently.

6. Incredible... I bet Bill Gates never imagined that PP could kill so many people
:sarcasm: on the Bill Gates part.

But honestly, I find it astonishing the Iraq War was "sold" using a spiffy PowerPoint presentation.

No doubt, Dubya was fascinated by the kewl pictures of 'sploshuns an stuff ...

8. Can anyone get ahold of the presentation itself?
Maybe get it to do rounds on the blogs, anyway to get that?
