a very familiar phenomenon. People have speculated down thru the decades... without any hard info, far as I know... that Hitler, for example, had a Jewish grandparent.

There was also a case, in my memory ( which is semi functional at this point so don't demand specifics, por favor) of a KKK luminary who killed himself because... at least in part... he had an African American ancestor and was afraid of being found out by his... ummm bedsheet-fellows?

I put this type of thing in the category of "Don't heterosexuals ever do*anything* wrong"? Clearly, the answer,for some folks anyway, is "no".

OTOH, lot's of *gays* play this game also, not just heteros. I think a direct challenge to this pernicious premise is usually sufficient.

You'd be surprised how many whites have black ancestry, especially in this country.

As far as the thread that this thread is mocking, I can see why that thread was irritating/insensitive (mainly due to the TIMING of the post) but at the same time studies have shown that homophobic people showed the most sexual response when exposed to same sex pornography. I've heard of at least two studies documenting that phenomenon.
