She was the first female POW of Operation Iraq Freedom. She is also the first black female POW in U.S. war history.
Johnson said she thought her captors would treat her more harshly because she's a woman, but they didn't.
"Just like there were ones who were not so kind to me there were those that were extremely kind to me," she said. snip
She told reporters, if she were president, she would start pulling troops out of Iraq tomorrow.
