Clinton Seeks to Convince Voters She Won Debate (verbatim headline)
http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20071116/pl_nm/usa_politics_democrats_dc

<snip>

The Obama camp circulated a letter to Clinton written by an Iowa citizen, Tod Bowman of Maquoketa.

Bowman noted that Obama had clearly stated he would be in favor of raising Social Security taxes for high-income earners. He also said Clinton attacked Obama for the position despite having told him, Bowman, she would consider raising those taxes as well, during an October 7 event in his hometown.

<snip>

The Edwards camp criticized Clinton's debate comments on the North American Free Trade Agreement, the U.S.-Canada-Mexico trade accord that many Americans believe has cost the United States jobs.

Eager for support from union workers, the Edwards campaign criticized Clinton for having "laughed off" a question about NAFTA by saying, "All I can remember from that is a bunch of charts."

4. From reading elsewhere on DU, she blew it, big time
"HILLARY BLEW IT when she tried to make the case the top 6% earners are 'Middle Class'...."

At best Hillary is a DINO, at worst a plant for the status quo. I'm not too surprised at her support considering how many people buy into the governments version of 9/11. Facts be damned. Look at where some of her her money is coming from. Rupert Murdock??? Why? That should be the kiss of death for any Democratic Presidential candidate. And bu$h kind words for Hillary have gone down the memory hole. Hillary is too far to the right of the real center for my tastes.

6. Forgive me if I don't equate Hillary's ability
to yell louder when reciting her script than the others as an indication of her strength.

5. A little bit about Mr. Steve Holland
http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2007/05/31/publiceye/entry2870223.shtml

A Few Words About Steve Holland

Now, you may not recognize his name. He’s not as well known as some of the TV hotshots who cover the President. And major newspapers have their own reporters covering the White House.

But as the chief White House reporter for one of the two major wire services, Holland very much set the news agenda for the rest of us.

Along with Terry Hunt of AP, Holland is one of the two White House correspondents the President almost always calls on first.

In fact, at many photo ops and press availabilities, they are the only American reporters to question Mr. Bush.
