I was perusing the internets for some info and came across this gem:

A Florida man has been denied the right to trademark the name "Obama bin Laden."

In rejecting the request, a U.S. patent office lawyer says the name makes a false connection between Illinois senator and Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and terror mastermind Osama bin Laden.

The lawyer says the applicant (Alexandre Batlle) would have to get permission from both the senator and the fugitive terrorist in order to have the trademark approved.
