There was an old man that called in at went on & on praising *ush (the usual phrases- "God Bless *ush", "he's a Christian man", blah blah blah). I swear it sounded like he was reading it from a prepared script. The words didn't flow naturally. I think the GOP pays some of these people to say these things.

If they interviewed 100 people, and the split was 99 for impeachment and 1 against, you'd see two people in the report: one for impeachment, one against.

It's like at rallies- you can have 100,000 anti-war protestors, but the 20-person pro-war demonstration will get equal time.

I've been saying this for years. I remember during the 2000 FL recount I was watching some guy on MSNBC and he was interviewing this young woman who had been in one of the recount areas (I can't remember which city) but she was screeching on the air about "there were all these chads flying all over the room." I watched in disbelief that they allowed such a blatantly phony interview on the air (I've since learned my lesson) and I remember turning to my son and saying, "That girl's a moonie. I can tell by the look in her eyes." I had some weird experiences with these people back in the early '70s. Once you've met one, they're hard to forget - like hollowed out shells.
