He doesn't work on Saturday because of the Sabbath. You mean to tell me that he didn't honor the Sabbath and voted NO, as well? Well, I'll be damned...

He decided to keep campaigning instead of voting. Politics as usual.

6. Who didn't vote?
I know McCain skipped out to campaign in Iowa this weekend (while Biden flew to Iowa on Friday, back to DC Saturday morning, and then back to Iowa this afternoon for an event tonight).

27. Never mind. The skunk has a statement on his site.
Something about not being able to change the
resolution to Warner's resolution. He didn't
bother to vote with his buddies....

25. It was the 'pre'-troop escalation vote
repubs have the vote under filibuster rule and needs a 'cloture' vote (requiring 60 votes) to end the filibuster and allow the vote on the resolution. This vote failed to bring cloture and thus prevents the vote on the resolution from happening (at this time.)

is it moves us closer to impeachment as it becomes more of a solution.

22. Well, looking on the bright side...
...it was pretty darned close to the 60 votes needed.

We need to keep pushing on it. Time to call and write our Senators and Representatives, keep the pressure on.
