If the popular Dem candidates are backed by corporate money
Edited on Tue Nov-27-07 08:41 PM by blues90
Then to me this is nothing other than corporations holding their positions buy leaping over to the winning side . since this always seems to be the case then what will change if a Dem does win and does this not really mean a president is really nothing more than a figure head puppet ?

What forces will still be in control , the forces we never see or hear about ?

Reagan was not in control , clinton played people pleaser , bush jr was DOA until 9/11 .

1. Here's something Edwards
said earlier this week:

"I'm going to be critical of my own party," Edwards declared, certainly getting my attention. "One of the mistakes that we make is to believe that all we have to do is to be better at this game than (the Republicans) are. If we're better at this game than them, we can be elected and then wield power. But for what purpose? But for what purpose, if nothing changes? Except for glorifying the ego of a particular candidate, what difference does it make?" http://www.salon.com/politics/roadies/2007/11/27/edwards_unplugged/index.html

Edwards and Kucinich on not on that list...

2. fits with what I heard him say in Reno 2 weeks ago about Dems/Repubs & lobbyists
He said big pharmacy, big oil, big whatever, will hire Dem lobbyists to further their cause when Congress/Pres controlled by Dems and the same goes for when it is controlled by Repugs. He said that is why we are still in Iraq and we still have made no progress on healthcare.

3. Why do you think the Democrats have so much more money
this election. In the past years Republicans had the humongous
amounts andthe Democrats had a token amount? KStreet hops on the
winning team. Doew not matter the party.
