Just to compare the parties with respect to use of this tool, since the Democratic Party has come in for a lot of criticism from both Republicans and Democrats because of the nonbinding nature of the current resolutions...

1. For this Resolution, Sen Hutchinson justified it with General BetrayUs's testimony
that passing such a resolution would harm the troops. Wow! I never thought that I could find a complement for General Pace, but he didn't lie like our illustrious General Peaches BetrayUs now in charge of managing the continuing BLOOD-BATH within Baghdad.

Methinks that General Pace will be replaced in the near future if he keeps up this stint of unvarnished honesty. ;)

General Pace was correct, in that, the troops serve because they were called and continued to be dedicated to the mission FOR THEIR BUDDIES (fellow soldiers to their left and right within their unit). They are NOT focusing on Congress like the right wing republicans want the populace to believe, but instead, are serving their time, protecting their brothers (and sisters) in arms and hoping to go home as soon as possible.

2. Didn't Hutchinson author one against Clinton?

I THINK she did! I can't find a link now.
I think it was an unbinding resolution not approving of U.S. troops being sent to Yugoslavia
