as far as we want them to be more liberal, but they are more liberal than the right so they are better.

7. I do get what you are saying though

It can be harsh to see us slamming our own candidates who want to serve us.

I think the core problem though is that people are disenchanted with people in politics as a whole. I have been around 41 years, seen dems in power and reps too.

And here we are in 2007:
Poverty still an issue, schools still suck, crime rates still bad, wars, corruption, health care, forest service, pollution, etc and so on seem to be as big if not bigger problems now than before.

We keep electing people, and we keep getting screwed. Clinton backpedaled on gays in the military, how the hell hard is it to just say - gays can be in the military, end of discussion? Bush can send em all to war to die and get maimed etc, why couldn't we have done that one tiny thing?

After awhile, people learn not to trust a damned one of em - so we put em through hell and a microscope and get damned picky.

I want to vote for ideals, not just a name with a D after it - I don't want used so that someone can get into power and play all nice and fun, I want someone who is the real deal.
