i'm sure there's more conservative scum out there that have done their level best to achieve this wonderful honorific, or others, like 'indicted lobbyist', 'convicted felon' and 'sexual predator'. i'm sure the liberal :eyes: media will appreciate the help when they, um, 'forget' to mention important details about conservative muckety-mucks!

1. It looks like that might not work this time!

Just this morning, on WJ several callers said "you just have to overlook some past sins when you look at the total man, and see a strong personwho promises to nominatestrict constructionist judges to the SCOTUS!"

I know! When I heard this, I couldn't believe how easily these idiots forgive a Pub but will NEVER give a Dem an ounce of wiggle room!

4. I doubt it that enough of the primary voters

of the rwreligious base will dismiss a) Rudy's serial philandering combined with b) his history of standing against the rw on much of the culture wars (abortion, gay rights) - esp when they are so hyped on judicial appointments.

For years of pandering to the reigiousright in the party combined with the politicization from the pulpit of many conservative religious churches has led that group to hold a big sway in GOP primaries.

2. Giulianni has to make it out of the GOP primaries

there is not someone that appeals well the nutcase fundie RW. I still think Brownback will fill that void and end up being the one to beat.

And BTW, people elected Bill Clinton so the tag "serial adulterer" doesn't work with normal people. I think that tag will only play to the RW.
