Bumper Sticker Sighting

I was following a car today (unfortunately still an SUV) with left bumper sticker:

FORMER REPUBLICAN

and right bumper sticker:

FLAG: WE CAN DO SO MUCH BETTER

(instead of what you usually expect to see with the US Flag, Support our Troops)

I smiled the rest of the way home and I would have gotten out and hugged the driver of that car, except it was on a nasty CA freeway ..... :-)

We need not be SUV haters though (unless it is over the top and Hummerish). No matter how much we conserve, the end of oil is coming. Focus more on alternative energy. It is possible. If XOM were smart, they would try to be first to market with an alternative...

Saw that one on the back bumper of a very redneck pick-em-up truck yesterday, right next to the "Bush Must Go" sticker and flanked by a USMC veterans' sticker. Ya just gotta love that.
