Do you find you're more brave about standing up to the Kool-Aid drinkers

since the last election? I know two people--a married couple--who keep reciting the "they attacked us on 9/11" meme in reference to Iraq. Well, today I pointed out quite clearly that Iraq has never attacked us and didn't have the means nor motive to do so. Then several people joined in, and corrected the couple. And then I realized...we're in the majority!!! It is a nice feeling.

1. I can't believe anyone still thinks that

Yet I still run into it all the time. I always rebut them, mostly for the benefit of bystanders. The koolaid drinkers aren't going to change. Even if they grudgingly acknowledge the truth about the way, they'll revert to something else like Savin' the Baybees.

Never really had a problem debating them before but it is alot easier now. I have never believed that we were a minority, just a silent majority. Too silent for too long.
