Wait, I amend that 'only' to include people who pretend to be ("concerned") Democrats -- but actually aren't, so as to dupe actual Democrats into disliking Pelosi and/or the Democrats.

2. thank you
It has been amazing to see how many alleged Democrats are willing to trust a news corporation known to catapult propaganda aimed to hurt Dems more than they trust our elected Speaker of the House. These wild-eyed, cudgel bearers are apparently willing to forego the rule of law regarding evidence, presumption of innocence, and due process to imprison Madame Speaker for treason and crimes against humanity.

That's what totalitarian governments do. Plant agitprop with the press in order to depose members of the opposition, counting on its provocateurs to fan the flames.

I thought we were better than that in America. I thought that we valued truth and equal justice more than apparently some here do.

Time and time again, news corporations have betrayed democracy. I can't even count the times over the last fourteen years that their outrageous lies and distortions have broken our hearts.

Why would ANYONE trust an unsourced story in The Post?

3. Idiot speaking
Has Pelosi denied it?
Actions speak louder than words and based on Pelosi's actions in the past year I think it is entirely credible. Much as I generally doubt the WP.
As a California resident, I only wish I lived in Pelosi's district to vote against her. My God, Pelosi, Fienstein and Boxer - My cup runneth over.

10. From the Talking Points Memo blog
So what did Pelosi know? From the Post:

Pelosi declined to comment directly on her reaction to the classified briefings. But a congressional source familiar with Pelosi's position on the matter said the California lawmaker did recall discussions about enhanced interrogation. The source said Pelosi recalls that techniques described by the CIA were still in the planning stage -- they had been designed and cleared with agency lawyers but not yet put in practice -- and acknowledged that Pelosi did not raise objections at the time."

Read the article.

4. No shortage here on DU, of either pretense or idiocy.
Time to take up, in a serious fashion, how trolls are actually dominating specific political topics, and to get them outta here.

The mods have the power to analyze this problem, using the technical knowledge server access permits.
