I am so very sorry for the offense, hurt and anger caused by my latest parody. While unintended, it is still inexcusable.

I have asked the mods to delete the post, and I have removed it from my journal as well.

Again, my sincerest apologies and regret to anyone I have hurt. It was thoughtless of me.

1. For what its worth I don't think you should apologize

and I'll take the slings and arrows because I don't think the parody in any way made "Baseless insinuations that all the Republicans we especially dislike are closeted homosexuals" in the moderator's words.

I also noticed there was virtually NO distaste about the parody expressed in the thread itself. Presumably then it was locked on the "alerts" of some people that couldn't even say to your "face" they thought you were being offensive. Just my two cents my friend. Honestly I think people need tougher skins. Flame me as you will but to know me you'd know I hold no bigotry toward our GLBT brothers and sisters.

There is a lot of evidence pointing to * being in the closet. And while I agree that there should not be a blanket (and hurtful) assumption that the majority of repug men are in sexual denial in the closet, I thought your post was funny and shouldn't have been locked.
