Majority Leader Harry Reid. Campaign Contributions.
Given the telecom immunity issue, I decided to look closer at Harry Reid's money.
No telecoms to be found here! Lots of lobbyists and law firms though, including Akin, Gump.

1. Nothing against gaming interests, but I have a lot against Citigroup, Inc.
Bankers have only sabotaged this current economy with their own greed.

9. The standard weak ad hominem bullshit of someone who has nothing to say
Edited on Fri Dec-14-07 08:53 AM by tom_paine
I understand. Your ego would have to be asleep at the switch not to throw up walls of defense to be shown your hypocrisy and laughability so starkly in such a way that if you were to look directly at it, your head would explode.

This is not to say I am any better than you, I'm not. We are all primates with huge egos. We are all ruled by our own inner monkey.

I have no doubt that, where in my life and beliefs that I have such a lunatic laughable hypocrisy, I would behave exactly as you just did.

By being a primate myself, that is a certainty. Being a primate it is also a certainty that I cannot see it in myself, and if someone saw it and tried to throw it in my face, as I did to you, I would undoubtedly react the same way, like getting tapped in the knee by the rubber mallet at the doctor's. Being a primate means being able to see the blind spots of others, but never quite being able to see one's own. It the whole reason our Daytime Talk Show Circuit has exploded meteorically because it taps into that basic human/primate truth.

So please, feel free to throw some more monkey-poop with your next reply. I'm not sure if that first bout of poop-throwing was enough to "scratch that itch". Please feel free to come back with some higher levels of vitriol and ad hominem personal attacks.

I am sure it will make you feel better and will release some of that ego-steam from your valve.

Might I make a suggestion for some points of attack to try and mentally brutalize me with? The most obvious would be to attack my description of yours and my and every human beings' primate-condition (I am sure there are some exceptions out there somewhere, but I have never met one and I am certain that I am not one, that's for sure) as psychobabble nonsense.

Then you could follow it up with a personal attack that is carefully veiled (but not so carefully that I shouldn't be easily able to to understand it and be hurt by it, if possible) as a heated attack on my "psychobabble".

But I want to leave some room for you to get creative, so I won't give you any more of my ideas. I am sure you want to give your upcoming defense mechanism/personal attack your own unique flair and imprimatur, as I would want to put mine on it if the situation was reversed.

(maybe it is, I wouldn't be able to tell anyway, being a primate myself)

:hi: fellow primate!

Anyway, good luck with shutting your ears and eyes to it all. I apologize for so directly showing you you hypocrisy and for  so much but that is my instant reaction to such a high level of upside-down-ism, especially lo, these last seven years.
