Democratic Presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich's push to initiate impeachment hearings against Vice President Richard B. Cheney received a significant boost today when three of his Democratic Congressional colleagues, all members of the House Judiciary Committee, endorsed Kucinich's call for action.

In a joint public announcement today, Representatives Robert Wexler, Luis Gutierrez, and Tammy Baldwin said, The charges are too serious to ignore. There is credible evidence that the Vice President abused the power of his office, and not only brought us into an unnecessary war but violated the civil liberties and privacy of American citizens. It is the constitutional duty of Congress to hold impeachment hearings.

(snip)
I appreciate the support of my good friends in this effort to hold our highest elected officials accountable, under the Constitution of the United States of America, for their violations and abuses of their sworn oaths to the Constitution and to the people of this nation, Kucinich said. With the continuing drumbeat from the Administration toward a possible war with Iran, the need for hearings is more urgent than ever.

(snip)
Kucinich will be campaigning in New Hampshire this weekend.

3. I remember when the WA Post wrote that Day 1 of Watergate Hearings was BORING
 I wasn't bored. I remember details, like where I was sitting, etc.--it was so exciting to see the end of Nixon begin.

And, here we go again, it seems, as the tide turns.

8. Oh god it was wonderful.
I can only imagine now that I am sort of retired and not in college like I was during the Watergate hearings I will be stuck to the TV like glue. I would rejoice every time something we have all know is brought up for the entire country to hear about.

Boring? lol
