A repetitious connecting of the Faux dots (O'LOOFAH, PERINO)

Faux used to have a rip-off of CNN's Reliable Sources, called NewsWatch on Saturdays after the Beltway Bozos. It featured two raging wingnuts, Jim PINKERTON and Cal THOMAS, and one flaming Lib, Neil GABLER and one trying mightily to be even-handed, Jane HALL. The moderator, Eric whassisname, skewed wingnut, but essayed a bit at letting the Libs be heard. O'LOOFAH began to rage at the GABLER dude, using his trademarked calling-out gambit of demanding that he show up to be abused on the O'LOOFAH carnival or else be called a coward, and actually demanding that Faux fire him.

For a couple of months that NewsWatch deal hasn't aired as far as I can tell, with more of the Faux wingnut couch sitters going at it for a couple of more hours.

Now, several months ago O'LOOFAH started a segment pairing Bernard GOLDDIGGER and poor Jane HALL, wherein Ms HALL would be browbeaten, marginalized, and verbally abused, while O'LOOFAH would give much more time to talk to GOLDDIGGER and the first and next to last words (O'LOOFAH *always* has the last word, even when he says he's giving it to somebody else).


I hadn't monitored in awhile, but last night there was Jane HALL appearing to have been totally reconstructed psychologically. O'LOOFAH was self-pitying again about how Meryl STREEP had made a crack at him about asking "wife beating questions," on the topic of O'LOOFAH's frequently demanding, "Do you (Lib X) WANT the U.S. to win in Iraq?!1 DO you?!1" He broadened this to how the vast Liberal media as a whole just craps on him all the time. O.K., fine. They showed a long series of clips of O'LOOFAH being slapped down by COLBERT, The View, GMA, etc.

I fell out of my chair to hear Ms HALL say, "That's because you really are the king of all media, Bill. (Paraphrasing, something like: ) The bigger you are, the bigger a target you are."

She has been rendered somewhere!1 She went on to say, "I don't know why you even go on those hostile shows. David LETTERMAN was just RUDE to you."

O'LOOFAH then proceeded to bigfoot her yet again, saying, "Because I gain exposure to their audiences that I don't normally reach, and they get exposure to my views that they don't normally get."


Oh, and in his continal ridiculousness about his War on Zeusmas, which, as all here know he claims is over because he won it, he asked a fellow nutcase what the top five or so businesses are that STILL insist on saying "holidays" instead of "Xmas". She said the top one is Barnes and Noble. O'LOOFAH said he is not going to bash or boycott B&N because "I do a lot of business, make a lot of money with them."


So there you have it, O'LOOFAH is ALL idealistic in his causes.




Then we have this PERINO freak claiming that only Faux deserves to be invited to the White House Zeusmas party!1

DOOCY: How weird is it to have, Dana, people who appear on other channels, who bash the president all the time, and then, one night a year, they come into the White House, they bring their kids, and they say, Hi, how are you, as if they haven’t been bashing the president all year long?

PERINO: It’s a little awkward. And it was amazing to me, being in charge of taking the requests for invitations this year, how audacious some people are to call and ask to be invited to the president’s Christmas party. ....
