If Hillary is Out Why Doesn't Gore Jump in?
Let me first say, I lost all hope for Gore getting ointo the race back in June or July. But if Gore was staying out because of Hillary wouldn't this be a good time to get in? Is it too late? I think Gore could raise a ton of money overnight if he got in right before Christmas!

5. First off, Hillary is not out
She has commanding leads in all the big states. She may be behind in Iowa and New Hampshire, but those are very small states with about 87 delegate votes between them. Of the four biggest states with combined almost 1200 delegates votes, she can probably count on at least 1000 of them.

8. Why don't you ask him?
Nobody on DU knows his intentions other than his repeated and consistent remarks that he's not running for President this time around, notwithstanding the fact that he's already to late to register as a candidate in several areas.

10. I'll rephrase
"IF" Hillary comes in last or shows no signs of becoming the lead, is it possible at this point for Al to jump in?

15. One might argue, because not a single vote has been cast, that she was never "in".
I know I have never felt any compulsion to vote for her for any office at all.

16. Oh, Lord, weekend hysteria. Chicken Little Syndrome intensified.
I see it on soap opera boards all the time.

NOTHING you say can penetrate the mental meltdown. Nothing except, maybe, Monday.
