Walter Reed Army Medical Center Begins Repairs on Building 18
The Story is in the Washington Post but this is just the start. Today not told in this article 1000's of emails and calls hit the Commander of Walter Reed. There is a hell of allot of work to be done. VVA and Veterans For America will be watching.

10. The story posted here the other day
recounting the delivery of the news to a family in Ca which I added some personal notes about:

The father is a VN vet who has had a tough go of it dealing with his experiences back then - and now has lost his son. He and his wife said they are going to be working in his memory to improve Vets benefits. I see a lot of people who have lost someone in this war entering notes in the "tributes" pages for the others, trying to help however they can. Helping others, and dedicating the effort to the one you lost, is a good way to deal with the pain. I commend you, Monkeyman, and say keep it up, brother. She would be proud.
