1. Guilty, big fine, almost no jail time (if any).
Just my prediction.

3. Some lady on Thom Hartman thought he might be acquitted.
She is the first person to say this, so I guess I still lean toward guilty.

2. I am thinking that at least one person will hang the jury, so no he will not be found guilty

5. You may be correct

The way they hand picked the jury, there must be at least one ass hole in the bunch who will throw a wrench into things.

4. Guilty on all or most counts; appeals stretched out until he's pardoned in Jan '09.

6. You might want to add "hung jury" to the list
I have a sneaky feeling that might happen

8. Probably found guilty, THEN...........
immediately pardoned to save our country the 'strife' of watching a bushco RW neocon criminal go to jail.

9. No he won't be.
And Fitz will go away without giving anyone any presents.

Until I see it happen, I refuse to put any faith in this trial.

11. I hope so - but
Edited on Tue Feb-20-07 06:34 PM by aint_no_life_nowhere
there might be one person in twelve who somehow got through voir dire without revealing that he/she is a complete right wing fanatic who could see Dick Cheney murder and eat a baby before their eyes and make a new pair of shoes out of its skin and still refuse to find him guilty of anything. I know there are fanatical people like that out there, but I hope one of them didn't sneak onto this jury. That's why I went with option #3.

12. Hung Jury
There are Repukes on the jury that will not vote guilty -- simply because Libby is a high profile Repuke.

I am not a lawyer, but I think this a a staged trial -- Fitz knew he would never be able to convict from day one.

The show trial was set up: so as to quiet the liberals, whom would ever want to be critical of Repukes running in the future. Now the Repukes can say they were investigated by Fitz -- and a jury found them not guilty.
