3. Many of us believe that the ISI is the covert muscle for BushCo, Inc..
Perhaps this report talked about more than election rigging?

6. Here is a bit from CNN:
"Ninety percent of the equipment that the USA gave the government of Pakistan to fight terrorism is being used to monitor and to keep a check on their political opponents," the report said. Video Watch the controversy surrounding Pakistan elections »

The Pakistani government denied the allegations, with two Pakistani diplomatic sources calling the report "baseless." Rashid Qureshi, a spokesman for Musharraf, called the accusations "ridiculous" and said the election will be "free, fair and transparent."

One Bhutto source said the document was compiled at her request and said the information came from sources inside the police and intelligence services.

Senator Latif Khosa, who helped put Bhutto's report together, accused the powerful Inter-Services Intelligence of operating a rigging cell from a safe house in the capital, Islamabad. The goal, he said, was to change voting results electronically on election day.

"The ISI has set up a mega-computer system where they can hack any computer in Pakistan and connect with the Election Commission," he said.

These are the same election machines used here. I hope Bhutto's aide sends the copy to some more sources to get it out.

16. This is the part that jumped out at me. When I first saw this report on television,
they (CNN?) mentioned WOT money just before they dropped this bombshell:

Senator Latif Khosa, who helped put Bhutto's report together, accused the powerful Inter-Services Intelligence of operating a rigging cell from a safe house in the capital, Islamabad. The goal, he said, was to change voting results electronically on election day.

"The ISI has set up a mega-computer system where they can hack any computer in Pakistan and connect with the Election Commission," he said.

Could this story be evidence of our intelligence, our war on terror being caught subverting democracy by rigging electronic voting?

I remember when bush took Musharraf another $2 billion. In December bush was saying Musharraf hadn't "crossed the line" yet. Does assassinating the person the people would have elected constitute crossing the line? I know a $10 billion line must be very wide, but this is ridiculous.

11. This is interesting:
Bhutto broke her agreement with the CIA, she wanted to talk with the Islamists

According to the manar newspaper the CIA in coordination with Musharraf’s ISI are behind the assassination of Benazir Bhutto.

Musharraf briefed the Americans that Bhutto contacted the Islamic movement in Pakistan to reach an agreement for reconciliation leading to future stability of the country and breaking Pakistan link with American war-on -terror.

This explanation seems logical, few days ago two British diplomats were expelled from Afghanistan for conducting talks with the Taliban
The Americans have a way of painting this black and white,……For them it’s like a cowboy film - you’re either a good guy or a bad guy.]

Remember when Karzai told the CNN that he was being held back from serious peace negotiations by the US?, Bhutto was convinced that Bin Laden is dead , so there is no need for the US fake so called “war-o-terror”.

Maloy Krishna Dhar , in his article agrees with this conclusion.

That is the full text of the article: http://www.roadstoiraq.com/2007/12/29/bhutto-broke-her-agrrement-with-the-cia-she-wanted-to-talk-with-the-islamists/

12. The report was 160 pages. It had proof of vote-rigging.
Senator Latif Khosa, who authored a 160-page dossier with Bhutto documenting rigging tactics, said they ranged from intimidation to fake ballots, and were in some cases unwittingly funded by U.S. aid.

Bhutto had been due to give the report to two visiting U.S. lawmakers over dinner on December 27, the day she was killed in a suicide bombing.

"The state agencies are manipulating the whole process," Khosa, a top Bhutto aide and head of her Pakistan People's Party election monitoring unit, told Reuters.

"There is rigging by the ISI (Inter-Services Intelligence), the election commission and the previous government, which is still continuing to hold influence. They were on the rampage."

(snip)

"They have used intimidatory tactics, they intimidated the returning officers into rejecting nomination papers ... they prevented candidates from submitting their nomination papers," Khosa said.

"This happened in Baluchistan and in the other central areas of Pakistan. It happened in Sindh."

He said the ISI also had a "mega computer" which could hack into any computer and was connected to the Election Commission's system.

Separately the commission had tried to manipulate the voting register by leaving millions of potential voters out, he added.

An initial draft list of voters published in June put the electorate at 52 million people, more than 20 million short, triggering a backlash from Musharraf's political opponents.

The Supreme Court ordered the commission to revise the list, and in October it raised the total to 80 million.

"The Election Commission is completely subservient to the government," Khosa said.

In the Election Commission's case, U.S. financial aid had been used in rigging, he added, stressing however he did not believe it was diverted military aid.

"She was going to give the dossier to two U.S. lawmakers simply because they happened to be visiting. It was then going to be made public," Khosa said.

"Benazir was supposed to hold a press conference. It was going to be distributed to everyone, but unfortunately that did not arise because she was assassinated."
