Iowa Caucus-ed Out?
I can't deal with another syllable about the election. I've turned off the "news" channels, but I'm terrified that while watching The Animal Planet or National Geographic Channel, there'll be a straw poll of farm animals.

Does anyone else feel like this campaign has already been going on forever? Somebody wake me when it's over - The Dog Whisperer awaits.

1. Don't forget The Weather Channel.

Fortunately, I pretty much ignored the campaigns until last week. I'm just beginning to take interest.

4. On election night 2004, our DC phone bank was calling into Ohio...
... and that's almost how each voter felt. 'YES, I VOTED, now leave us alone!'. The state was so over worked. Iowa has to feel the same.

5. I would have thrown myself off a bluff months ago.
Stay strong. It's almost over.

6. Yes, the campaign has been going on far too long and too much money is being spent.

7. It has been going on forever.
I've refrained from committing to any candidate to this point because I don't want to reward any of them for starting their campaign 18 months before the election.

8. They're on the verge of ending democracy by boring everyone to death.
Of course, they could end the endless campaigns by taking the money out of politics.

Unfortunately, the people who could do so are the people who benefit the most from keeping the present system of producing millionaires to act as middlemen for those who finance them.

9. I would suggest turning of the computer...
If you can't do that visit a different website for next couple of days.
