Dean supporters from '04--who are you supporting this time?
Just curious.

I supported Dean in '04 and am wondering where you are at this time?

I began hoping for Gore, drifted to DK, but now I'm for Biden--if he doesn't survive I'll vote for Edwards (if he survives).

I didn't like Obama from the beginning - just one of those vibes.

3. Kucinich then Edwards X3
Edited on Wed Jan-02-08 04:41 PM by goddess40
I wish I knew why Dennis is throwing is support to Obama if he doesn't get the 15% in Iowa.

That's three of the four voters in this house. My son hasn't decided yet.

That said, I don't know why he's throwing his support to anyone.

22. He's throwing his support to Obama for Iowa only
If he doesn't make the magical 15% mark. If a voter's choice doesn't get 15% of the votes they get to recast their vote and evidently he would rather they vote for Obama than another canidate.

23. It's simple. Kucinich want to get to the number 3 spot, and Edwards is there
right now.

Also, they tend to compete for a lot of the same voters. If Edwards comes in 3rd in Iowa, he may drop out of the race. This would improve Kucinich' chances considerably.

4. I originally supported Obama, then I became a Biden man with Hillary
as a close second. I don't particularly like Hillary, but I don't like very many of our candidates. I really liked Dean back in '04, though.

21. Kucinich, Biden, Edwards.
My vote won't count since I'm from Michigan, but I like Kucinich best. If he drops out, then I'm for Biden (though I think he'd be best at Sec.State). If he drops out, then I'm for Edwards (not perfect but seems to get it).

I really wanted Gore, but such was not to be. *sigh*

24. Leaning to Edwards.
Heavily - Obama and Clinton turns me off - have since the beginning of the campaign - Edward's smart. He denounced the Iraq votes, and is not wasting Senate's time (he quit in '04, to campaign full time - smart!)

He's as close to my liking as I see possible - the other candidates are a wash.

It'll come down to Obama and Edwards by the time Super Tuesday comes around, and Clinton just clinging on to a very distant 3rd.

31. I'm not strongly pulled to any one candidate
By the time I vote in the primary, the candidate is usually chosen anyway so I'll just wait to see what IA, NH, and SC do. Regardless, I plan on volunteering during the GE for the candidate that gets the nomination.
