Once you start hitting more urban states where the fundies are an extreme minority you will see a massive change. He is the type that is distasteful even to many Christians. When I see the center of the country with the massive churches it is shocking to me. Around here you might have a "big" Catholic church but even those are tiny compared to the mega churches.
