The Edwards judgment gap.
Of the 22 senators who reported reading the full NIE, eight are Republicans and 14 are Democrats. All but one Democrat on the 17-person Intelligence Committee in 2002 recalled reading the NIE: Former Sen. John Edwards (D-N.C.) told a campaign-trail audience earlier this month that he had, but later recanted. Edwards voted to authorize war.

Not only does this show lack of judgment, it also shows his lack of curiosity, something we are very familiar with in our current President, If Edwards got the August 6th PDB would he have even read it ?

Edwards sat on the senate intelligence committee and knew Bush wasn't telling the truth, Both Edwards and Durbin knew Bush was lying, both remained silent, but for some reason Edwards still voted for war.

In my eyes, this all shows a lack of judgment when it was needed most.

1. That was a terrible vote. I wish he never voted for it. Makes
you wonder why anyone voted for it?

4. Lucky for Obama he wasn't there. He's even stated that he doesn't know how he'd vote.
So he wins by dumb fuckin' luck. That's reasonable.

3. there are a lot of votes that show a judgment gap for Edwards. Funny how so many DU'ers stick their
fingers in their ears and pretend otherwise.

6. I don't pretend. I know my candidate is imperfect. Hell yes I do.
He's some stupid shit. He's done some shitty shit. But his positions match my interests. And the other have done even dumber and shittier shit.

9. nervous ?
Not at all.

Edwards is my second choice. I just thought we needed some balance on the board. All the Obama bashing was wearing me down. It's not like I am making this stuff up...unlike the Obama haters.

Illinois is fine, But I think I am moving..probably to the Ozarks, in Missouri. I am done with winter, fuck it.

10. Can we think about the future.
The War is here. it is not going to change. We will there another
5 years or more. It is done. No one is going to change one thing.

Going back in history on this is the hundredth time it has
been brought up. We are fighting the war. We will be fighting
the war.

11. Would have even read it? No. Of course not. He'd have thrown it on the floor,
then pissed on it, then poured gasoline on it, then lit it on fire, then put it out with an American flag. Then he'd have sued the paper company, the CIA, the Senate, and the Founding Fathers for setting up a system that introduced flammable material into his home. Because he's a goddamn incurious, unapologetic, ambulance-chasing trial lawyer!

Fuck Edwards!

/obvious :sarcasm:

13. We need a trial lawyer. The country needs a trial lawyer. Goldman Sachs put their money on Obama
first, Clinton, second, and Edwards, third.

That says a lot about their expectations.
