Wow. This is pretty stunning if true.
Steve Clemons is a pretty reliable blogger. Look what he just posted a little while ago.

This is interesting news. I have worked through the campaigns today -- and while I don't have all the detail on which campaigns did what exact back deals, I know that the Hillary Clinton campaign approached every single one of the others.

Her emissaries approached Biden, Dodd, Richardson, and Kucinich -- and all of them turned her down. They all cut arrangements with Obama or Edwards.

2. Huh...
wouldn't saying that this is untrue also a rumor of equal proportions?

6. Steve Clemons is pretty savvy...
And close to people working in a number of campaigns. I think it is safe to say that he is one of the more accurate sources you can read.

8. He is good - a bit centrist (self-proclaimed)
but I find reading him he has moved a bit to the left over the past couple of years. I first started reading him during the Bolton confirmation hearings.

7. From the site...
Greetings, and welcome to my website. During the days, I serve as Senior Fellow & Director, American Strategy Program, New America Foundation and, in my spare time, serve as Director of the Japan Policy Research Institute.

Yeah, you're right. He sounds shady.

4. Hmmm.
I wonder what caused this? Sounds like there has been some stuff going on that the press has agreed not to report.

I know...surprising as all hell. :eyes:
