Reasons for hating President Bush... What have I missed?
I have this list of reasons I hate President Bush, listed on this blog. I also added a few in a response. Am I forgetting anything?

http://openletterstopresidentbush.blogspot.com/

*An unnecessary, unjust, immoral and illegal war based on incorrect intelligence at best, and outright lies at worst
*Gross incompetence in handling that war
*Rampant corruption and cronyism
*$3 trillion added to that national debt in seven years, the vast majority coming in the first six years, with a “fiscally conservative” (say that with straight face) Republican congress
Soaring trade deficits, hitting $763.3 billion in 2006
*A severely weakened dollar
*A health care crisis you did nothing about – sky-rocketing costs leaving 47 million uninsured, millions more under insured and even fully insured middle class families in dire straights in the event of serious medical problems
*An energy crisis you did nothing about – especially the continued reliance on oil, the rapidly escalating costs of which are tricking throughout the economy
*Failed educational policy
*A severely degraded environment, jeopardizing the ecological sustainability necessary for future prosperity

...

*Stagnant wages among all workers, even degreed professionals, and steadily disappearing manufacturing jobs

*Severe restrictions of liberties essential to democracy, such as freedom of speech and religion

*Imprisonment without any actual charges, without any representation, without any hope for those who may not be guilty of anything

*Use of torture

6. *conducting business in ways that underminds the Constitution
*implementing economic policies that led to increases in the poverty rate while curtailing social safety nets
*the creation of tens of thousands (or more) of disabled vets while not increasing the budget accordingly to tend to their medical needs.
*trusting a "gut" about world leaders rather than learning anything about those leaders, their policies etc., and then conducting foreign policy on those gut instincts (and thus ignoring the de-democratization of Russia for years before realizing a problem was brewing)

such as drug use. Minorities spend as long as ten years for use of drugs. They are used as slave labor for the profit of private prison owners and shareholders. We have more prisoners than any country in the world. Politicans who abuse the laws lying to us about killing, destroying, and robbing other nations spend no time at all. The law under Bush is neither fair or just.

privacy for we the public (gone!) and his administration who ostensibly works for we the people (everything is blocked - we are supposed to know NOTHING about what they are doing in our name.)

He's a big, mean, smirking, ignorant bully who was created to fulfill every backward stereotype about Americans.

12. Faith Based funds

are used to buy and control religious organizations (religious cronyism). There is no accountability. The people do not approve but are ignored. The poor are not being helped but these religious organizations build new churhes, schools, etc., buy up public hospitals, land, newspapers, etc.

Today some religious groups are tax exempt and prosper enough to have great wealth and political power. Enough to have a say over government policy (such as Stem Cell research and Islamic religious wars). There is no over sight as to the abuse of public dollars.

It is unconstitutional to have state funded (public tax dollars from all who may not even be members of that religious organization) religious programs. It could ruin our democracy since the largest and most powerful religious group could control our future. They might even destroy other religious groups thus destroying religious freedom of worship.

Our founding fathers thought this concept was important enough that they wrote it in the founding document. Europe had long suffered from many years of religous wars and tryanny.

22. Bush has destroyed our military at home
for new bases around the world (some 700 for his world government). He hires mercenaries from around the world to occupy ours. They get paid more for their service than our own military doing the same thing (except raping, robbing, and shooting innocent Iraqis). And worst of all he uses our tax dollars to defeat our democracy and security.

He says he supports our military but destroys and ignores them. He wants them mostly gone. We won't be able to defend ourselves in a disaster or invasion of "The Homeland". That is what he seems to want. It is dangerous and treasonous.

was not faster and more modern. It was reason to destroy it and profit for the elite few. He robbed us doing it. He, the VP, and President "stood down" on 911 allowing us to be attacked. They have committed genocide, robbery, and environmental destruction to our earth (depleted uranium and oil spills). They have hired mercinaries to do their dirty work and terrorism around the world (and maybe here in the future) using our tax dollars and without our permssion. The most treasonous and dangerous of leaders since our country was formed.

Now, can/will Democrats do anything about this mess after the 2008 elections?
