Are all NorCal posters without power?
I talked to my daughter and she told me she heard 900,000 people are without power in NorCal.

She lives in the Sierra foothills and, so far, has power but many don't.

Please check in.

1. Most of the Bay Area has power now.
Not sure about the foothills, though.

7. HI!
She's in Calaveras Co.

I lived for many years in Mariposa Co. (Greeley Hill/Coulterville area)

Spent many hours and days without power. One of the highlights of my life back then. LOLOL

12. 900,000 "customers" translates to probably 3 million people
When they said 500,000 customers in the Bay Area were without power, we are not talking people but households, thus, with a household size of say 3 on average, possibly 1.5 million were without power or a bit over 20% of the Bay Area's households.

On the peninsula between SF and San Jose, some 150,000 customers were without power at some point, possibly 400,000 people which is probably almost 50% of the population of the area there.

15. Sacramento Valley PG&E customer
I was out of power for three to five minutes total. My lights dimmed many times indicating someone on my grid went down. With the amount of local damage, I'm really surprised our power wasn't out for a longer period of time because it really blew stink today!

17. Power Has Been Out Since Before 7 This Morning Here in the Sandy Cruz Mountains
They were saying on the news that we should expect it to be out all weekend.
We have been running the generator off and on.
Internet went out too, currently tethering to the cellphone to access the net.

Once I had checked on all my clients' houses, I chose the one that still had electricity and heat and hunkered down until 7:00 PM.

But in answer to your question, it was between 42 and 45, which is slightly warmer than it's been.

It sure rained like crazy here, though, and was very windy to boot. I'm not surprised there are power lines down.
