What are freepers thinking these days?
Edited on Sat Jan-05-08 12:24 AM by proud2Blib
There was a lot of snow here over Christmas and I was on vacation so I decided to revisit some of the other discussion boards I used to post at fairly regularly. They are all supposedly open to anyone, not specific right or left boards. The good news is the freepers have dwindled down to only a few. The bad news is they are much much worse than they used to be and 10 times dumber.

So for your enjoyment, I thought I would share some of their thoughts with you.

On Huckabee:

He is two things. A Baptist minister and a former fatty. Both mean he will be advancing a extremist agenda.

========================

Cant agree more. i dont trust him at all coz he isnt fat naymore.

Yep, study the issues, care enough to join a discussion board and then slam a candidate because he USED TO BE fat.

On Kucinich, Edwards and Obama:

Kucinich believes he was abducted by an alien....

Edwards preaches against the big evil corporation while he made tons of money investing in hedge funds. Meanwhile he preaches about 2 Americas while living in a 20K+ square foot house with indoor sports fields. Seems like he really does understand the pligt of those who he forced increased health care prices on by sueing doctors for diseases they had no way of effecting...

Don't shame Obama with that kind of a comparrison...

On Hillary:

I'm a Clinton supporter, so not enamored by Obama at all. But, he is doing pretty well.
But one thing you said seemed ridiculous - you said he wanted, "more affordable ways to attend college".
My perspective is we have too many people in college now!

It's scary enough for me to think of my wife voting without thinking my kids (one in college and the other graduated) will vote!

Anyway, Hillary is the logical and proper choice for President.

This guy is a Hillary supporter like I am a Ronald Reagan fan.

On Iraq:

Two situations that a "pull out" fail. Birth control and Military conflict.

More people die from homicide in California in 18 months than have died in Iraq. Not trying to be callous but I tire of liberals using the deaths of US soldiers for arguments sake and then telling me I don't care about those in need in our own country...

But it is perfectly acceptable to use the deaths of those homicide victims in California for argument's sake!!

1. FreeRepubs hate all the candidates but Fred and Hunter. Seriously. HATE.
100 times worse than the worst anti-Dem thread around here.

4. I'm looking forward to the day when we can compare the deaths
in Iraq as being insignificant compared to the circular firing squad deaths of the "moran" freepers.

Does anyone really expect them to ever say anything of substance? I mean just read a few of their threads http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/browse?ao=0 and you'll see that these are, primarily, a bunch of folks so filled with ultra right wing fascist rage they can't think straight.
