2. People are suffering financially out there. I don't think they're quite as stupid as last time.
I maybe wrong, but they'd have to be retarded to be that stupid.

3. I think if Hillary somehow manages to get nominated, we lose.
Otherwise, we kick ass. :)

7. If they were capable of that, the Republicans would have won in '06.

10. Like the 21 races Democrats lost showing 4.5+%flip to Repugs vs. the exit polls
Oh yeah, I forgot. Exit polls are only accurate in the rest of the world - not accurate here.

Feel free to search the DU Election Reform archives for the data and analysis or go to http://www.electiondefensealliance.org for your education on the 2006 election.

6. Specifically...
Edwards 55-57% (Staggering Defeat for Republicans)

Otherwise, close but a win.

And keep in mind that the higher the win, the longer the coattails for Congress.

11. Now imagine the margin without vote rigging, vote suppression, caging, gerrymandering, etc.

12. The Dems would have to work hard to get LESS than 53%.
I wouldn't worry, though ... I'm sure they're up to the task. The DLC is more than willing to make that happen.
