The Bush Library. A large room filled with indifference.
Elie Weisel, the author, Holocaust survivor, and Nobel Peace Prize recipient
said, "The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference.

For seven years now, Elie Weisel's statement has proven to be prophetic. George W. Bush doesn't hate us. He's just indifferent to our presence in this country, on this world and in this universe. He simply is not aware of the needs, wants, pleas, desires, aspirations, misery, pain, agony, or even the existence of other human beings on this planet. Put more simply, this man doesn't give a rat's ass about anyone or anything but himself.

The question is not how Bush got to where he is. The real question is how to prevent this disgraceful outrage from ever again being inflicted upon us. If we go through another stolen election, it will be the duty of each and every American to go out into the streets and lay down our lives if necessary. (And if you disagree, how much is life really worth for you, or your children, or grandchildren, without freedom?)

Hopefully, it will never come anywhere close to that. But we can never again let it come as close as it has these past seven years. And that's the reason that Bush/Cheney & Company must be held accountable for their crimes against the Constitution, the American people, and humanity.

After WWII, conscientious human beings tried to set some universal, humane standards when they held the Nuremberg Trials to hold Nazis accountable. I know that many here resent the comparison of Bush/Cheney & Co. to Nazis, but what else do you call it when countless people have died for some insane ideology, and corporate profit, and the need to hold on to power?

A Nazi by any other name is a Nazi. If we don't hold them accountable, then we become their accomplices and enablers.

2. Presidential libraries aren't built for books. They're built for bragging rights.
However, in the case of George W. Bush, "My Pet Goat" will probably be placed at the entrance, encased in bullet-proof glass, and guarded by 72 Secret Service agents.

Given Junior's record and legacy, what the hell else would there be to deserve a prominent spot in his "library."
