1. I don't think Obama will roll out Oprah anymore...

...he's a little more savvy than that.

Besides, Oprah coming to Iowa is like a Blue Whale appearing in Lake Erie--it was effictive because Iowans don't often see a Media mega-celebrity walking around in their midst. She was truly out of her element, and the effect was, by all accounts, pretty dazzling.

In California, espeicially SOUTHERN California, Oprah is just another fish in the bowl...
