During a press availability on the campaign trail in New Hampshire this weekend, MSNBC's Chris Matthews was pressing Sen. Hillary Clinton about how her plan to bring U.S troops home from Iraq differs from her competitors. Then it got weird(er):

Matthews: "please come on the show."

Clinton: "yeah, right."

Matthews: "is that an answer?"

Clinton: "you know, I don't know what to do with men who are obsessed with me. Honestly, I've never understood it."

In Hillary's case I hate her politics, but alot of the hatred I see here on DU isn't just because she is Al From with a better hairdo. They seem to just hate everything about her, even her human qualities. I'm not going to hate someone on a personal level because they don't share my political views. I think she is smart, strong, AND Bootylicious and I don't care how other people perceive that, its just my personal view. I'll bet if we started a poll here I wouldn't be the only one on DU who supports someone else but who likes her on a personal if not political level.

She was earnest at the debates and on DU it was a MELTDOWWWWWWWN!

She let a little emotion show at a photo op and on DU its of course a shallow ploy from the inhuman priestess of the satanic dlc cult.

In fact, I'd go as far to say that people on DU are showing me why I probably shouldn't stay home on election day if she is the nom. I think she is strong, pretty, smart, and the more bashing she gets here on DU and from the freeps, the more I'm going to sing her praises. Its like arguing with a friend you think is totally wrong on something and then a stranger comes up and insults them. Whatever disagreement you had with your friend seems unimportant in the context of fighting off a new common foe.

Attraction or ignore? If people are going to post threads about her personal stuff, I'm in attraction mode for sure. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.
