In case you didn't hear it on the news: Edwards hits his highest mark in National Polling
http://www.pollster.com/blogs/poll_usa_todaygallup_national_4.php

Among 499 Democrats and those who lean Democratic, Sen. Hillary Clinton and Sen. Barack Obama both run at 33% in a national primary; former Sen. John Edwards trails at 20%.

Edwards +5
Obama +6
Clinton -12

This is they highest Edwards has ever been nationally.

1. Well good for Edwards and Obama...
Clinton better stop the hemorrhaging. Although I have my preferences, I'll be satisfied with whichever one gets the nomination. Lord knows they are head and shoulders above the republican candidates this go-'round.

6. It looks like he and Obama are pretty much splitting the points HRC loses. I think JE will
pick up steam once people realize HRC isn't inevitable. He won't match the Obama steamroller, but he CAN pick up some steam, especially in the South and industrialized states.

10. Edwards didn't make the news... just the title of a DU thread...
By the way, are you experiencing any cognitive dissonance between your support for John and your DU name?

;)

:hi:

14. Well
I believe Richard Wolfe of Newsweek briefly mentioned Edwards was "inching up in the polls" but he didn't give any numbers if I remember correctly.

That's why I largely avoid the mainstream media for election coverage and opt for something better: http://bravenewfilms.org/election
